Jeffrey Rush Moes

Jeffrey Rush Moes, age 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Chicago, IL, June 4, 1958, son of the late Robert and Nancy (Nee: Miller) Moes.

Jeff was a graduate of St. Rita Catholic School and St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1976”. He worked at Mister Jr. clothing store in downtown Racine for 17 years, until he took over the business as Gilbert Rush in 1991. He later worked in car sales, most recently at Palmen Motors in Racine.

Jeff was a man of routine and loved going to his favorite spots with his favorite people. He had a dry sense of humor, a love of golf, and always appreciated a strong cocktail and cigar with good company.

Jeff will be dearly missed by his three children, Lauren Moes, Katie (Dayne) Szymandera, Nick Moes; mother of his children and life partner, Dana Rosman; grandchildren, Lilian and Tennison Harrop; sister, Ann Sievert; brother, Michael Moes; other relatives and close friends who meant the world to him.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Memorials to Ascension All Saints Cancer Center have been suggested.
