Jean Blanchard

Blanchard, Jean Jean Marie (Lewis) Blanchard, age 92, passed away in her sleep on September 3, 2020 in Marshall, MI. She was born March 13, 1928 in Kalamazoo, MI to Claude and Paulene (Wertenberg) Lewis. Jean graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in June 1946. Jean worked at Keyser Insurance for over 30 years. Jean married William H. Blanchard on September 18, 1949; they were married for 64 years. Bill preceded her in death on December 30, 2013. Also preceding her in death are her parents and many aunts and uncles. Jean is survived by nephews, John "Bill" Adams of Arizona and David (Kim) Tooker of Traverse City, MI; niece, Marilyn Adams of MI; cousins, Darel (Eileen) VanVleet of Quincy, MI, John (Linda) Schmoeller of Alton, IL, Bob (Pat) Smith of Galesburg, MI, Paul (Joanne) Gregory of Richland, MI, Debbie Sheets of Galesburg, MI, Bruce (Reberta) Wertenberg of Yucaipa, CA, Ron (Karen) Wertenberg of Durham, NC, and the LeBoeuf-Biasotti Family of Oceanside, CA. Due to COVID-19, there will be no services or visitation. Entombment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
