Janet Walker

Janet Walker; age 78 passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from pancreas and lung cancer. Janet “Little Gram” was born March 30, 1940, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Roy and Thelma Kissenger (Sigourney). She worked for the US Postal Service for close to 30 years. Janet truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; knitting and crocheting, baking and cooking and completing crossword puzzles. Janet loved to spend time at Lake Michigan on the beach and in the water. She had an unfound commitment to her family and they were truly her everything. She lived and breathed her family and was devoted to their success.

Janet is survived by her daughters Debra Todd and Pamela (Darryl) Watkins and a son Michael (LeeAnn) Walker. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Angela (Michelle) Walker- Lynch, Leslie (Rodney) Slagle, Nuthanael (Stephanie) Watkins, Alicia (Errol) Matthews, Marissa (Norman) McGinn, Marvin Todd, Paul (Autumn) Watkins, Michael Walker Jr., many Great-Grandchildren, a Great-Great Grandchild and a nephew James (Janis) McGhee.

A memorial service will be held in Battle Creek, Michigan, on Friday, October 26th from 3:00pm—4:00pm at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens 1490 E Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49014.
