Age 80, passed away May 10, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Janet was born June 12, 1937 in Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ney, Sr.; parents, Edward and Dorothy (Bont) Kopp; siblings, Walter Popma & Judy Bryant. Janet loved the outdoors, gardening, golf, bowling & cards. She will be remembered as a caring and loving person who volunterd at many organizations. Janet is survived by her children, Richard (Becky) Profit Jr. of Sparta, William Profit of Howard City, Lloyd (Janette) Ney Jr. of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Lloyd (Krista) Ney III, Eric Ney, Colleen (Kevin) Heyboer, Nichole (Kurt) Vanderlaan, Dustin Profit; and 9 great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Rae, Jim and Marilyn. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 15th at 11 AM at St Anthony of Padua 2510 Richmond Street NW. Friends may visit with family beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Hospice or PAACT, Inc.
