Jane Ann (Brady) Wallner, age 74, of Gull Lake (Richland), died unexpectedly Friday evening, January 11, 2019 in Grand Junction, CO while vacationing with family. Jane, the daughter of Tom and Jane (Cooling) Brady, was born in St. Petersburg, FL on August 1, 1944; was a graduate of Loretto Heights College in Denver Colorado. Jane and her family moved to this area in 1971. Jane was active in the Junior League of Kalamazoo early on after they moved to Richland. She enjoyed her volunteering at the Boys Nationals Tennis Tournament. She loved spending time with her friends and spoiling her five grandchildren. Jane was united in marriage to John S. Wallner, Jr. in Indianapolis IN. on June 11 1966. Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Jack and their children John S. (Cathy) Wallner of Ponte Vedra Beach FL and Barbara J. (George) Kruk of Rochester Hills MI. and by five grand children, Megan and Tom Wallner, Jake, Drew and Ben Kruk. Jane was preceded in death by her parents. Jane's family will meet friends on Friday, January 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church, 12648 East D Avenue, Augusta, MI 49012, with Father Francis A. Marotti, Celebrant and Deacon Michael A. Carl, Assisting. Interment will follow in Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland. Family and friends will continue Jane's life celebration with a luncheon immediately following the committal service at Gull Lake Country Club. A second celebration of life will be held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida at the Sawgrass Beach Club on Saturday, January 26th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jane's honor may be directed to American Cancer Society.
