Jane M. Lees

Jane Marie Lees, age 81, passed away September 21, 2016, at Ridgewood Care Center. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, December 21, 1934, daughter of the late Wilfred and Olga (Nee: Maurice) St. Amour.

On April 11, 1959, in Racine, she was united in marriage to Robert W. Lees who preceded her in death April 20, 2015. Jane was employed as a Head Start Preschool Program retiring in 1990 to Bagley, WI. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are her 10 children, Leslie (Dave) Wentzell, Pamela Cruzen, Robert (Evie) Lees, William (Susan) Lees, Nancy (Al) Pederson, Sara (Rich) Stanton, Felicia (John) Murphy, John Lees, Matthew (Alma) Lees, Anne (Gene) Hewlett; 26 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Monday, September 26, 2016, 4-6 P.M. with a memorial service at 6:00 P.M. Interment will be held at Bagley Cemetery, Bagley, WI. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Assn have been suggested.
