Jane DeMeester, age 91 of Coopersville, passed away April 24, 2018. She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Daniel; children Agnes & Willard DeBraber, Ruth & Jeffrey Marshall, Jane & Michael Klaasen, Donna & Arnold VanVeldhuizen; Kathie & Jacob DeKorne, Mary DeMeester, Daniel & Kathy DeMeester , Cornelia & David VanDyke; 58 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Gertrude Westrate, Helen Kamp, Martina (George) Feyter, Richard (Ruth) Kamp, Henry (Lena) Kamp, Ada (Henry) Bloem; sister-in-law Emeline Kamp as well as many nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her infant son, Daniel; grandson, Michael Daniel Klaasen; and brothers, Peter and John Kamp. Friends and family are invited to visit together at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW on Friday, April 27 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 10 AM at First Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1261 Beckwith Ave NE with Rev. G.M. deLeeuw officiating.
