Jane A. Wiese, age 89. Passed away on Friday July 24, 2015 at Ridgewood Care Center. Jane was born in Kendall, WI on December 9, 1925, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (nee: Mohns) Collins.

Jane was a graduate of Kendall High School “Class of 1943”. On February 4, 1950, Jane was united in marriage to the love of her life Robert G. Wiese, who preceded her in death on February 27, 1974. She was employed at Color Arts for many years until her retirement in 1991. A strong believer in her faith, Jane was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Jane was a poet, she also enjoyed gardening, cribbage and crosswords, and could outwit anyone. Jane will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who deeply cared for her family.

Jane will be dearly missed by her children, Cynthia (Terry) Vetter, Kathleen Jones, Patricia (Ural) Jackson, Nancy DeGarmo (Richard Fought), James (Inna) Wiese, Timothy Wiese, Mary (Steve) Neibaur, Colleen Parenteau; grandchildren, Sam, Matthew, and Ryan Vetter, Justin Jones, Patrick (Angela) Jackson, Mary Jane (Troy) Porter, Lynn DeGarmo, John Wiese, Sarah Wiese, Jennifer Segars, Nicholas Neibaur, Adam Neibaur, Jerry (Lindsey) Parenteau, Jacob Parenteau, Jonah Parenteau; 20 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Jane was also preceded in death by her grandson Robert DeGarmo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St, Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Ave, on Thursday July 30, 2015, 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Ave. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.

The family extends a special thank you to Jane’s hero, Dr. Short, his staff, the staffs at Ridgewood Care Center, Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital and Hospice for all of their loving and compassionate care.
