James Goff

Jim Goff, aged 65, of Portage, MI passed away at Bronson Methodist Hospital on January 22 2017. He was born in Kalamazoo on January 31 1951; the son of Glavis L. and Scharlott V. (Whitney) Goff. He was an avid fisherman and loved being on the lake. Jim served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He also enjoyed spending time in Naples, Florida. Jim was preceded in death by his father and brothers John "Sunny" Goff and Mike Goff. He is survived by his children, Darcy (Chad) Matthies, Lisa Goff and Trevor (Gina) Goff; six grandchildren, mother, sister Sharon Crowe and brothers, Sam, Bob and Tom Goff. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A committal service with full military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on August 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Those attending are asked to arrive to the cortege area at Ft.
