James "Bruce" Gill

James "Bruce" Gill, age 52, of Paw Paw passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, January 6, 2018 at his home in Paw Paw, MI. Bruce was born December 23, 1965 in Monroe, Michigan the son of William Gill Sr. and Bessie Charlene Garvin. He worked for 19 years at the Coca-Cola Company in Paw Paw. Bruce enjoyed working on vehicles; also buying and selling them. He loved watching U of M football and was a very avid Red Wings fan. Bruce enjoyed taking his family to tractor shows and grilling dinners for them. He loved spending time with his family and was especially proud of his children. Bruce will be missed dearly. Bruce is survived by his children; Timothy and Kaitlyn Gill; his best friend and soulmate Debora Gorsline, ex-wife and mother of children Janet Lynch, parents; William Gill, Sr. and Bessie Charlene (Frank)Mroz, siblings; William Gill Jr., Kim Gill, Brian Gill (Corey Walters), Hollee Gill, and Jacob Gill, many nieces, nephews and several dear friends. A Celebration of Bruce's Life will take place Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Almena United Methodist Church, 27503 County Road 375, Paw Paw, MI 49079. Pastor Donna Keyte will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the American Heart Association.
