Jacob Porter

Jacob Scott Porter, age 31 of Buckley, died on January 7, 2019. Jacob was born on October 2, 1987 in Traverse City to Bradley E. Porter and Tamra K. Agle. He attended Kingsley High School. Jake was a good hard worker. He worked at Burger King, starting as a teenager and worked for Grand Traverse Container for over 3 years, operating robots. Jake had a heart of gold and loved spending time with his family, friends and daughter, Alaura.

Jacob is survived by his daughter, Alaura Fleminger; mother, Tamra (Richard) Rodriguez; father, Bradley (Val) Porter; brothers, Bradley Jr. (Sarah) Porter, Earl (Mindi) Porter and Patrick Porter; grandparents; Kathleen (Howard) Broder, Marian Porter and James (Louise) Agle; stepsiblings, Westley (Rissa) Robinson, Tiffany (Jules) Robinson, Kevin Brown, Hailey (Joe) Galla, Anthony Brown and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Franklin Porter.
