Jacob DeBruine

DEBRUINE- Mr. Jacob DeBruine, age 99, of Grand Rapids, passed away on June 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacoba; and infant granddaughter, Sarah Lynn DeBruine. Jacob is survived by sons, Gilbert and Eleanor, Carl and Mary, Martinus, and Albert and Marla DeBruine; Grandchildren, Julie Bylsma, Randall and Brenda DeBruine, Karen Seager and David Splitgerber, Rachael and Gary Kersten, and Teresa and Richard Rose; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Johanna Boot. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 1833 Plainfield Ave. NE with Rev. A. Verhoef and Rev. C. Vogelaar. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Trinitarian Bible Society.
