Jack Sulka

Jack F. Sulka, age 79, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away September 20, 2016. Jack was born in Kalamazoo on Dec, 14, 1936 the son of Bernard and Mary (Wojdyla) Sulka. He was employed by Eaton Corp. and retiring from James River Company. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, being a Michigan and Red Wings fan. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Dora (Otten) Sulka on August 23, 2004; daughter in law, Sheree on September 29, 2015; sister, Lucille Sulka; brothers, Bernard Sulka and Rev. Fr. Stanley Sulka. Jack is survived by children; Michael, John Sulka and Steven Sulka all of Kalamazoo, Thomas & Susie Sulka of Portage, Diane Sulka of Kalamazoo, Susan & Mark Evans of Battle Creek, 10 grandchildren: Jennifer, Daniel (Kristina), Scotty, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Alex, Madison, Michael and Samantha, sister, Betty (Jack) Dyer of Lincoln, NE; several nieces & nephews; his cat, Sam. Friends will be received Thursday 5 until 8pm with a rosary being recited at 7:30 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Friday September 23, 2016 at St Ambrose Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Church or Rose Arbor Hospice.
