Jack Adam Glazier, 55 of Traverse City died Monday, March 30, 2015.

He was born on January 30, 1960 in Traverse City the son of Richard Adam and Dorothy Irene (Griffin) Glazier.

Jack was employed with the Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools from 1976 to 1979. He worked with Sara Lee Bakery from August 1979 to November 2007. He became unable to work and started receiving disability in 2009 due to complications with Diabetes.

He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church; where participated as an Usher. Jack was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved volunteering with the Boy Scouts Troop #105, Lake Ann; which his two sons belong. He participated with the Scouts with Merit Badges, Board of Review, weekly meetings and planning campouts. He enjoyed his time camping.

Jack is survived by his wife; Barbara Glazier; they were married on October 2, 1993 in Traverse City; children, Jacob, Eric and Graceanna; mother; Dorothy Glazier; brothers, David (Carol Bauer) Glazier of Wisconsin and Pat Glazier of Kingsley; sisters, Linda McAllister of Interlochen and Mary (Tracy) Anderson of Wayne; numerous nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father; Richard Glazier; grandparents, Adam and Florence Glazier and Herbert and Lillian Griffin and brother in law; Jeffrey McAllister.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the St. Francis Catholic Church. The family will greet friends starting at 10 am. A Rosary will be recited at 10:40 am. Burial will be in the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens, Traverse City. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bortz Healthcare of Traverse City or Heartland Hospice, Traverse City.
