Age 95, died Saturday January 13, 2018. He is the son of Clifford and Margorie (Gage) Dunning. Born in Kalamazoo MI on April 1, 1922; was a lifetime area resident and was a 1940 graduate of Richland High School. He served in World War ll, with the Army Air Corps, serving in the Aleutian Islands. He was a plumber pipe fitter until his retirement in 1985. Jack was an avid golfer and devoted family man. In the later years of his retirement, he could be found sitting in his recliner, with coffee in one hand and a pipe in the other. Jack was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Wise on February 26, 1944. Surviving is his wife of almost 74 years, Evelyn; two daughters, Nancy (John) Smith of Richland and Sandra (Dan) DeLosh of Dunedin Florida; a son, Jack Dunning of Richland; four grandchildren, Crissa Mason (Ken Isaacson) Matt Smith, Kerry (Dave) Cabrera, Tim (Lindsay) Sullivan; four great grandchildren; Sierra, Leah, Kate and Jaxon; a sister, Maxine Vincent and three nephews. Jack was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan. There will be no service at this time. A private service will take place at a later date at Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland, with Wright Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard, bestowing military honors.
