Irene M. Foster, age 89, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her residence. Irene was born in Milwaukee, WI, July 14, 1927, daughter of the late Alexander and Lucille (Nee: Piotrowski) Miller.

On June 10, 1950 in Milwaukee she was united in marriage to John J. Foster who preceded her in death, November 21, 2011. Irene was employed for many years at Briggs and Stratton. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Above all Irene was a loving and devoted mother who cherished time spent with her daughter, Diane.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Foster; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Chester and Eugene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 15, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Avenue. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to Breast Cancer Awareness or Career Industries have been suggested.
