Howard J. Wigand, 87, passed away peacefully June 17. Loving husband of 63 years to Marion. Beloved father of Denise “Danie” Brown (Paul). Cherished Papa of Sarah and Ryan Brown. Uncle to Mary Jane Matejka, Fr. Bill Wigand and Mike Wigand.
Howard worked in the auto industry, mostly at Ford Motor Co. for over 30 years. He was also a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Howard enjoyed attending all of his grandchildrens activities.
He was a parishioner of St Aidan Catholic Church in Livonia.
Family will receive friends Monday 2 – 9 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Neely-Turowski Life Story Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Road (btn Merriman and Middlebelt Roads), Livonia, MI 48154.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday 9:30 AM at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Road, (btw 6 and 7 Mile Roads) Livonia. Instate 9 AM until mass begins.
Entombment at Glen Eden Mausoleum, Livonia, MI.
