Blackman, Howard "Tink" 1/29/1948 - 10/15/2018 Allegan Howard Carleton "Tink" Blackman, 70, of Allegan, MI passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Born January 29, 1948 in Allegan, he was the son of the late DuWayne and Barbara (Cook) Blackman and was the husband of Nanette Roberta (Johnson) "Nan" Blackman. Tink was a 1966 graduate of Allegan High School. He had worked for Rockwell International for twenty years and for Magna Mirrors in Holland for over twenty-one years prior to retirement. Tink was a member and Lifetime Golden Eagle at the Allegan Eagles Club. He was also a member of the Otsego Moose Lodge and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. Tink was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball and bowling. In addition to his wife of thirty-four years, he is survived by his daughters, Geri Blackman Phillips and husband Art and Stacy Blackman Osman and husband JD; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Katelyn and Ian; and his aunts, Linda Evans and Betty Jeffries. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A celebration of Tink's life and luncheon will follow at 2:00 PM at the Allegan Eagles Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wings Home, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010; or Allegan Eagles 2315, 110 Chestnut Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
