Henry VanderPloeg

Henry "Rick" VanderPloeg, Age 49, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2015 Rick was born to Henry and Nancy (Grinage) VanderPloeg in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Graduated from Plainwell High School in 1985. Rick was a long distance truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Survived by his wife of 14 years Barbara VanderPloeg, his mother Nancy VanderPloeg, his sisters Denise (Larry) Truax of Martin, Darcia (John) Artz of Plainwell. Nieces Alexandria (Regis) Vorva, Courtney (Bret) McGlathery, Hillary (Kevin) Hall, Kaleigh Artz. Nephews Cy Truax and John Artz. Many great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Henry R. VanderPloeg. Please join the family on June 14th at 3pm for visitation, memorial service at 4pm held at Gun River Conservation Club 689 11th Street Plainwell, Michigan. In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the ASPCA in honor of his pets.
