Henry "Joe" Baker

Henry “Joe” Baker, aged 81 of Walker, MI, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jacquelyn Baker; his children, Julie (Andrew) Rodenhouse, Joel (Cassandra) Baker, his grandchildren, Christian, Kaylee and Addison Rodenhouse; special nieces and nephews, Dirk Baker, Marta Ann Baker, Patricia Jo (Bradley) Eft, M. Christine (Greg) Longcore; his dear friend, Mark (Mary) DeKam; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann Baker, his aunts, June Baker and Josephine Baker, and his three sisters and one brother. Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He honorably served his country in the US Army National Guard for 12 years. . Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 11:00 AM at Westend Christian Reformed Church, 1015 Westend Ave. NW. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00.
