Helen R. Fellner

Helen R. Fellner, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Helen was born in West, TX on January 10, 1932, daughter of the late Ota and Roxie (nee: Callen) Stone. She attended Alligator and Ross Schools, and picked cotton and worked as a winder in the cotton gin mill in West, TX

On October 13, 1951, Helen was married to John B. Fellner at St. Louis Catholic Church where they were longtime dedicated members. She was a homemaker as well as working on the family farm. Helen was a rural newspaper carrier for the Racine Journal Times. An avid Brewers and Packers fan, Helen also loved to play bingo and test her luck at the casinos. She will be remembered for love and dedication to her large family.

Helen will be dearly missed by her husband of sixty-four years, John; her children, Patricia Fellner (Ken Rosenow), John (Suzanne) Fellner Jr., Fred Fellner (Pen McDermott), Susan (Dave) Holeton, all of Racine, Joseph (Judy) Fellner of Kettering, OH, Mark Fellner, Henry Fellner, Ruth (Jeff) Teeter, all of Racine; 11 grandchildren, Keith, Jennifer, Dave Jr., Brian, Kristen, Joseph Jr., Mary, Matthew, Jordan, Jarod and Jessica; 8 great grandchildren, Aleisha, Isaac, Jack, Reed, Iris, Ian, Cullen, and Dexter; siblings, Roy Stone, Willie Loyce Morgan, OC (Rita) Stone, Tommy (Bea) Stone, Bobby (Connie) Stone, Jerry (Georgia) Stone; sister-in-law, Linda Stone; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and special friend Angie Ottmann. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Stone, Martha Lou Harley and Ella Mae (Jimmie) Bajer; brothers, James, Ray (Norene) and Donald Stone; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Phillip (Mary Ann) Fellner, Wendell Morgan, Roy (Catherine) Stapleman, Margaret Fellner, Marion Fellner, Florence Stone, Helen Stone, and her best friend Marion Ottmann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 County Road G, on Monday January 18, 2016, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Mark Danczyk officiating. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
