Helen P. Bugalski, age 87, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center with her family by her side. Helen was born in Middle Inlet, WI, August 19, 1928, daughter of the late Louis and Victoria (Nee: Krzevina) Boivin.

On August 22, 1953 in Crivitz, WI she was united in marriage to Leo Bugalski. Helen was a longtime member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She enjoyed tending to her garden, canning, and trips to Potawatomi. Helen will forever be remembered for her homemade food, wonderful pies and her gracious hospitality. More than anything she devoted and treasured time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of sixty-two years, Leo; her children, Karen (James) Widmar, Nancy Bugalski, Robert (Margaret) Bugalski; her four grandchildren, Sarah (Tom) Van Beckum, Brian (Jennie) Widmar, Kristina (Michael Wolf) Bugalski, and Michael Bugalski; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twelve brothers and sisters, Ray (Lucille) Boivin, Lucille (Paul) Jarosz, Agnes (John) Jarosz, Rose (George) Benz, Leonard Boivin, Bernice (Oscar) Dirk, Harold (Clara) Boivin, Willard Boivin, Lawrence (Mary) Boivin, Albert (Mitze) Boivin, Joseph (Charlotte) Boivin, and Marie (Felix) Konesko.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 18, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Avenue, with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. and Monday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to St. Edward Catholic Church or to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
