Helen Kilburn

Helen D. Kilburn, age 95, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away October 10, 2016 in Kalamazoo, MI. Helen was born November 11, 1920 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Franklin and Mattie (Cole) Forrest. On July 22, 1939 she was united in marriage to George Q. Kilburn who preceded her in death on February 6, 1994. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Karen, and four siblings. Surviving are her children Gregory (Sharon) Kilburn, Linda Kilburn and Chris (Tammy) Kilburn; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces. Visitation will be from 4 to 7PM on Thursday, October 13th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, October 14th. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be served at Pathfinders Church. Interment will follow the luncheon at Portage South Cemetery. Memorials in Helen's memory may be directed to Pathfinders Church.
