Hayse, Helen A. Otsego, MI Helen passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Diana's Care in Otsego. She was born January 24, 1927 in Plainwell the13th out of 14 children born to Charles and Anna (McSorley) Sweeney. Helen had worked at Allied Paper and then at Kal-Equip until her retirement in 1966. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, watching movies and spending time with her dog. On February 21, 1944 in Plainwell she married Nelson "Sonny" Hayse who passed away in 1993. Surviving are her daughter, Shelia Hayse of Kalamazoo, 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Dan Hayse and by her siblings. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.
