Helen Cook

Helen Jane Cook of Scotts, MI passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, age 93. She was born in Cadillac, MI on December 26, 1924, the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Watson. She was employed by James River Company for many years. She loved playing in golf outings with the V.F.W. and the Eagles Club. She enjoyed taking walks, shopping and mowing her yard. She maintained an immaculate yard and household. She was married to Reynold "Ron" Endres, who preceded her in death. She later married Robert Leslie Cook on October 25, 1986, who survives her. She is also survived by her step-children, Sally (Carl) Barber, Carrie (John) Hine, Rhonda (Steve) Broekema, Patti (Scott) Sampley, and Robin (Brian) Wicker; several grandchildren who loved her dearly; her niece, Nancy (Bob) Wolter; and other extended family. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49008, with Dan Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
