A Rosary service will begin at church at 10 AM, followed by a time for visitation until the Mass begins. All are invited to join the family immediately after the Mass at Rosedale Memorial Park for a graveside service, followed by a luncheon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Howell and her sister, Kimberly Basile. Heather is survived by her husband, Scott Steele; children Audrey & Cutter Phillips, Tim & Tami Astras, Nick & Jennifer Johnson, Paul & Melissa Astras; stepchildren Britni, Zachary, Jacob and Bobby Steele; grandchildren Logan, Alex, Addison, Cayden, Josh, Samantha, Eli, Nikki, Skylar and Savannah; her mother, Suzy Howell; father-in-law Leon & Patti Steele; brother, Tim Howell as well several friends. Friends may visit with her family on Friday from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW where the visitation time will conclude with a service to celebrate her life at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church in Grand Rapids where the Rosary will be recited beginning at 10 AM. Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park.
