Harry Bongers, age 79, of Plainwell passed away on December 14, 2015 at Borgess Hospital. Harry was born on November 4, 1936 to Henry & Emma (Coover) Bongers. Visit with his family and friends on Saturday, December 19 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Life Story Funeral Home, Plainwell; 120 Woodhams St. (685-5881). A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Harry’s family includes his wife of 53 years, Betty; his children: Suellyn (Tim) Oosting, Haralyn (Andy) McHugh, Pamella Beeman; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings: Henry (Mary) Bongers, Marilyn (John) Eberhardt, Diane (Phil) Marlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Rachael and his mother-in-law Lucile Barber. He served his country proudly in the Army.
