Harriet Olsen

Harriet Louise Olsen, age 100, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Sunday December 24, 2017 at ParkVillage Pines. Harriet was born October 13, 1917 in Newaygo, MI the daughter of Phillip and Charlotte (Mulholland) Nelson. She was an Army sergeant serving as a WAC during WW II. Harriet graduated from Parsons Business School and retired from March Air Force Base in California, she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Harriet was united in marriage to Lawrence E. Olsen who preceded her in death in 1996, also preceding her is a brother, Carl Nelson. She is survived by two nieces Carleen (Matthew) VanMiddlesworth, Susan (Gregg) Kebler of Kalamazoo. Graveside services will be held 11:30 am Friday December 29, 2017 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Parchment Redmond Funeral Home.
