Harriet Long

Mrs. Harriet Marie Long (nee Wyman) passed away on December 5th in Portage, Michigan at the age of 84. Harriet is survived by her children, Ken (Linda) Long and Karen (Kevin Van Veelen) Reitz, her granddaughters Veronica, Jessica, Sara, and Laura (Brandon Hosek), and seven siblings. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger. Harriet was born in 1934 at her family farm in Porter Township, and graduated from Marcellus High School. A family graveside service was held at Bly Cemetery in Marcellus. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, or a charity of your choice.
