Gregory S. Pappas

Gregory S. Pappas, age 91, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Gregory was born in Messenia, Greece, April 25, 1924, son of the late John and Mary (Nee: Theos) Pappas.

During World War II he proudly served in the United States Army. At this time a very special highlight occurred in his life where he met his brother in Holland by chance. He worked in construction for forty-five years, retiring in 2007. He loved cars.

Survivors include his cousins, Peter Theos, Dean (Karen) Theos, Angeline (James) Danek; and special and dear friend, Kashaj Grandberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Pappas; his grandson, James Pappas; and his brother, George Pappas.

Funeral services with Full Military Honors will be held Friday, February 19, 2016, 12:00 P.M. at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.
