Gordon Chisholm

Gordon A. Chisholm, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 74. Gordon was born December 18, 1942, in Kalamazoo to the late Dr. Gordon and Viola (Shikoski) Chisholm. Gordon was united in marriage to Shirley Dannenberg on March 20, 1981, who survives. Gordon loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed wood-working, antiquing, clocks, traveling and hunting. He volunteered with the American Red Cross as well. Gordon is survived by his wife, Shirley Chisholm; children, Tom (Betsy) Chisholm, Kyle Chisholm, Julie Chisholm, Tammy (Chuck) Roberts, Jodi (Lance) Ludwig and Scot (Deb) Haverdink; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Gail (Sid) Tiesenga, John (Beth) Chisholm and Robert (Linda) Chisholm; sister-in-law, Carla (Mort) Beckman; brother-in-law, Robert (Mary) Dannenberg; and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Saturday, October 7th from 10-11am at Texas Corners Bible Church, 7780 S. 8th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Pastor David Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. Memorials may be directed to Texas Corners Bible Church or to the American Red Cross.
