Glenn R. Henderson

Glenn Rozell Henderson, age 56, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital. He was born in Racine, May 2, 1959 to Gwen McWhorter-Lewis and Wayne Henderson.

Glenn graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1977”. He was an entrepreneur working in real estate and enjoyed boxing and football. Above all, it was time spent with his family that he treasured the most, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his only beloved son, Phaheem; grandchildren, D’vontae, Julian, Jayden, and Larrynn; his mother, Gwen Lewis; brothers, Donnie of Paducah, KY and Anton of Milwaukee, WI. sisters; Monique McWhorter of Waukesha, WI, Michelle Lewis-Philips of Tempe, AZ, Morona “Rona” Lewis of Fort Wayne, TX, Dee Lewis of Milwaukee, WI and Carolyn Lewis of Racine, WI, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Henderson; grandparents, Luella and Daniel McWhorter, Gela Milburn.

A Homegoing service will be celebrated at the funeral home, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 11:00 A.M. with Minister Tara Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Froedtert Hospital and to very special cousins and friend Dale Bostick, Tara Campbell and Annie Faye Person for their loving and compassionate care.
