Gladys Bednarz

Bednarz, Gladys (Hasiec) Kalamazoo Gladys (Hasiec) Bednarz passed to a better place on March 7, 2018. She was met by her husband Tony and her Hasiec sisters: Mary, Helen and Jennie. Gladys had a great 97 year run sharing everything she learned from the city to the farm with her daughters, Mary (Scott) Aldrich and Monica (Dan) Loegel and all others who had the chance to sit down and chat with her. Gladys, whose nickname was "Happy", lived life to the fullest. She was proud of her many accomplishments but the best was the joy of her grandsons, Tom (Diane) and Mark. It only got better when she was deemed the honor of Great Grandmother she was a Great Grandma to Margot. While there will be no formal services at this time, we will celebrate at her Happy Yellow House at 2415 Parchmount Ave, on Wednesday March 14, 2018 from 5-7 pm. The family will gather at a future date to have Gladys and Tony joined on earth. Gladys had a support team that went above and beyond; we thank Beth, Rosanne, Beverly, Margie, KayLie, Ruth plus Amy from Aspire and Kairos. The wish we have now is to tell the ones you love how much you love them. Pay it forward. Close or far, actions or dollars, be there for the ones you love.
