Surrounded by her loving family, Gladys A. Mueller, age 88, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at her residence. Gladys was born in Caledonia, April 30, 1928, daughter of the late Anthony and Verna (Nee: Erbe) Barth.

On June 22, 1946 she was united in marriage to Anthony Mueller who preceded her in death, February 10, 1989. She was employed by the U.S. Bank of Franksville for over twenty years, retiring in 1993. Gladys was a lifelong and faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church and always looked forward to volunteering at the church festival. A master chef and gardener she enjoyed tending to her beautiful garden and sharing her scrumptious cheesecakes. She also loved to dance. Above all she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She will be dearly missed by her son and daughters-in-law, Joseph (Beverly) Mueller, Margaret Mueller; her four grandchildren, Michael Mueller, Robb (Carrie) Mueller, Jacob Mueller, Robyn (Daniel) Welker; her six loving great-grandchildren; brothers, LeRoy (Collette) Barth of Caledonia, Norman (Eleanor) Barth of FL, Kenneth (Donna) Barth, Lorin (Carol) Barth, all of Caledonia; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Mueller; her brother, Raymond (Edna) Barth; and sister, Doris Zellner.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 County Road G, Caledonia with Reverend Jerry Hessel and Deacon Jim Zdeb officiating. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M until 5:00 P.M. and Monday at the church from 10:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.
