Gerry Followell

Went home to be with the lord on July 21, 2019. Gerry was 66 years old and was born to Gene L. And Clara Jablonski in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on April 27, 1953. Gerry was united in marriage to Jim Followell on July 9, 1977. Gerry was a faithful, devoted wife. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends. She loved to visit casinos (especially if she won!), fishing, gardening, cooking, canning and playing cards. She was an avid reader and she loved sharing books with others who had the same passion for reading. Gerry retired from the US Postal Service where she was a rural route carrier in Delton, Michigan for many years. Prior to that position, she ran a daycare for many years. She enjoyed having children around her in her life. Gerry was preceded in death by her father Gene and two brothers Mike and Jon Jablonski. Gerry is survived by her husband James; mother Clara Jablonski of Richland, Michigan; brother Robin Jablonski of Richland, MI; sister Judi (John) Whitlow from Texarkana, AR and Heidi Krenke from Appleton, WI. As well as many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Gerry also held a special place in her heart for her in-laws. Cremation has taken place and a gathering to celebrate Gerry's life will be held in the social hall behind St. Ambrose Church, 1628 East G Ave, Parchment, MI 49004 from 2:00-5:00 Pm on Sunday, July 28, 2019.
