Geraldine Mae Pallesen, age 89, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 20, 1927 in Racine, daughter of the late Patrick and Julia (Nee: Fitzgerald) Lavin.

Geraldine graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1944”. On April 21, 1951 she was united in marriage to Donald Pallesen who preceded her in death in 1985. Geraldine worked many years at Peter C. Beck Company and Blickle Auto Body until the age of 75. She then volunteered at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints till the age of 88. Geraldine enjoyed traveling, playing schafskopf and dining with friends and family.

She will be dearly missed by her two sons and families, Charles (Peggy) Pallesen and their daughters, Amy (Andrew) Acklam, Carrie Pallesen and great-granddaughter, Annabelle, Patrick (Vicki) Pallesen and their sons, Erin (Andi) Pallesen, Ryan (April) Lecomte, and great-granddaughter, Peyton; good friends, Marilyn and Darlene; niece, Carol (Gene) Simon; other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 11:00 A.M. followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet Wednesday 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Lucy’s Catholic Church have been suggested.
