Georgeanna “Georgie” Ayala was called upon by the Lord on June 26, 2019. Georgie was born June 14, 1965 in Plainwell, MI to Armondo and RoseMary Ayala. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Being a mother and even more so, a grandmother, was the greatest joy she got out of life. They never had to worry about getting enough love from her. She always made sure her children and grandchildren had everything they needed, even if it meant sacrificing her own needs. That showed what kind of heart and beautiful soul Georgie had. She enjoyed spending time with her family at gatherings. You could always count on sharing many laughs and jokes with her. Georgie’s hobbies included spending time at the beach, crossword and word search puzzles, watching movies, doing her make up, and listening to music. She is preceded in death by her grandson Adrien Pritchett and parents Armondo and RoseMary Ayala. She is survived by her three children: William (Kari) Pritchett, of Kalamazoo; Jazmine Pritchett (Rakeem Hampton), of Kalamazoo; Bryson (Plamen) Pritchett, of Kalamazoo; granddaughters, Aaliyah Pritchett and Kyla Hampton; six sisters: Gloria Greer, Ester Morin, Guadalupe Guyton, Irene Broadhurst, Francisca Ayala, and Concha Jimenez; two brothers: Angel Ayala and Armondo Ayala Jr.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all. A private viewing will take place on July 1st at McCowen and Secord Funeral Home in Plainwell, MI before cremation. A memorial service is planned July 6th.
