Age 77, died March 17, 2016 at his home. Fred was born June 8, 1938 in Kalamazoo, the son of Theodore and Minnie (Houtkooper) Modderman. Surviving are a sister, Jean Modderman; 4 nieces: Karyn Ryan, Sandahl Bloom, Jessica Bloom and Diandre (Gunner) Bloom-Ridgway and his ROI family. Services will be held Tuesday 10:00AM at the Life Story Funeral Home-Betzler 6080 Stadium Dr. Kalamazoo- 375-2900 with visitation beginning at 9AM. Burial at Hope Cemetery, Texas Township.
