Freda Leedy

Freda B. Leedy, age 91, of Gobles, MI passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Medilodge of Westwood, Kalamazoo. Freda was born March 27, 1925 in Bloomingdale, the daughter of Frank and Bessy Bieter and has lived the majority of her life in the Gobles area. She enjoyed knitting and baking which she did every day. Surviving are her 3 sons, Carl (Paula), Bob (Candy), Jim Leedy all of Paw Paw; grandson, Mike (Tina) Leedy of Paw Paw; 2 great grandchildren, Kylie and Ryan Leedy; stepgrandson, Tom (Kim) Bush; 2 stepgranddaughters, Madelyn, Claire; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry in 2011; and 2 sisters and a brother. The family will meet friends 5-7 PM Thursday at the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home (www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com)where the funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery, Bloomingdale Township. The family suggests memorials be made to either Grace Hospice of Kalamazoo or to the Alzheimer's Association.
