Our beloved husband, father and grandfather slipped from this earthly life and joined the Church Triumphant on April 27, 2018. Frank was born on February 15, 1939 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and has made Grand Rapids his home since 1977. He served the church of Christ as a Sunday school teacher, a deacon and an elder. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Triezenberg in 2008; his parents John and Hattie Triezenberg; sister and brother-in-law Lois and Rev. Fred Gunnink; sister, Elaine Triezenberg, brother, John Triezenberg; and sister, Nellie Kloosterman. Frank is survived by his wife and best friend, Judith; son, John Triezenberg; daughters Amy (Tom) Flikkema, and Lori (Scott) Bartelds; four beloved grandchildren Caleb (Whitney) and Keagen Flikkema; Ben (Caitlin) Bartelds, Rachel Bartelds; brothers and sisters John Kloosterman, Eleanor (Joe) DeKoekkoek, Janice Triezenberg, Harold (Phyllis) Triezenberg, and Patti (Peter) Blok, all of Kalamazoo; in-laws Fred (JoAnn) Bouwkamp, and David (Char) Bouwkamp; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Frank will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., SW, Grandville, with visitation from 6 8 p.m. on Monday, April 30 at the Cook Funeral Home (West building) in Grandville. Reverend Cory Griess will officiate the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions in memory of Frank may be made to Adams Christian School or East Side Protestant Reformed Christian School.
