Franklin Earl Sheltrown, age 88, of San Antonio, FL passed away at his home on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Frank was born on Monday, March 11, 1929 in West Branch, MI to parents James Sheltrown & Geneva (Teague) Sheltrown. He was a very generous man of the Lutheran faith, and a Tampa Bay area resident of over 20 years. Frank spent 17 years as owner of Paris Bakery in Plainwell, Michigan, and 33 years, as Marketing Sales Director for J.W. Allen in Chicago, Illinois. Baking was one of Frank's most notable talents. He was known for his peanut brittle and especially his cookies, many of which were his own recipes. He loved to hand out his homemade treats to all of his buddies in the golfing community. His talent for baking and generosity earned him the nickname, "The Cookie Man." Frank was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Idebel, Anne, and Bethany; and two brothers, Jimmy and Doyle. Survivors include his wife and the love of his life, Donna (Fite) Sheltrown; two sons, Gary Sheltrown (Pam) and Bradley Sheltrown (Diane); one brother, Dwight (Audrey); one sister, Audrey; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He will be truly missed. Hodges Family Funeral Home
