Frank Bishop

Frank Virgil Bishop, age 91, of Paw Paw, MI passed away at his son's family home in Paw Paw. He was born in Allegan and lived in this area all of his life, except for when he served his country during WWII in Germany and France. He fought a long battle with Cancer. Frank married Wanda Marie Turcott on May 12, 1956 and they had 4 children together, Dawn Bishop of Nebraska, Daniel (Diane) Bishop of Paw Paw, MI, Joni (Rich) Brebner of Zion, IL, and Russell (Laurie) Bishop of Plainwell, MI. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, Kelly (Rob) TenBusschen, Jesse Brebner, Donovan Bishop, and Allyson Bishop; 2 great-grandsons of Colorado and his little princess, Quinn TenBuschen, who made his eyes light up. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Virginia Llewellyn and brother William Bishop. Surviving his loving wife of 61 years and his children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Julia Blait and Patricia Gettys and many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation and memorial service was held 1:00pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the residence, 34905 M-40 in Paw Paw. Memorial donations may be made to Talons Out Honor Flight, P.O. Box 280, Portage, MI 49024 or to Hospice of SW Michigan. The family would like to thank the hospice nurses, Ann, Charlotte, Larry and Denise for their care and compassion, and also the SW Michigan Hospice Chaplain, Deb.
