Passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. June was born August 26, 1935 in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, daughter to Harvey and Thyra (Engelhardt) Bryant and had been a resident of the Kalamazoo/Richland area for over 52 years before moving to New Mexico in 2003. June married Claude Boekeloo on June 4, 1955. Prior to her retirement in 1996 she was employed as a Scheduling Manager at Georgia Pacific Paper Company for 35 years. June enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Kenneth Bryant; husband Claude Boekeloo; daughter Sally (Boekeloo) Wood; grand-daughters Heather Wood and Jessica (Boekeloo) Gibson. She is survived by her son Terry Boekeloo and daughter Susan Boekeloo both of Rio Rancho, NM; 3 grandchildren, Brandon (Stacey) Boekeloo, Jacob Boekeloo and Amber (Vince) Antolovich; 2 great-grandchildren, Lucas and Sydney Antolovich; sisters Joyce Walker and Carolyn (Raymond) Snyder; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday May 2 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Richland. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life reception will be held at Haven Church, 5350 N. Sprinkle Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49004. Friends and family members may meet with June's family Monday evening, May 1 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
