Faren K.Crump, age 56, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Wednesday October 18, 2016 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Faren was born December 9, 1959 in Kalamazoo the daughter of William and Tommye (Wells) Whitaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Kalamazoo; enjoyed traveling, biking trips, going to the movies and a devout Elvis fan. She was preceded in death by her father William Whitaker in 2013. Surviving is her mother, Tommye Whitaker of Kalamazoo; two brothers, William S. (Melisa) Whitaker of Galesburg, Russell A. (Tracy) Whitaker of Richland; a niece, four nephews & cousins. Friends are being received 10:30 11:30 am Saturday October 22, 2016 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will be held at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice.
