Fabian Robert Peterson

Peterson, Fabian Robert 5/20/2015 Kalamazoo Fabian Robert Peterson, age 97, of Kalamazoo and son of Swedish immigrants, Axel Fabian Peterson and Anna (Olson) Peterson, died peacefully on Wednesday morning, May 20, 2015 at Friendship Village in Kalamazoo. Fabian faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Denver and his Masters of Engineering from the University of Illinois. Fabian married the "Love of his Life", Neva Belter in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 26, 1952; she sadly preceded him in death on February 17, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Debra (Glenn) Quinlan of Battle Creek; 2 grandsons, Alex & Marcus Quinlan, and a brother, Wallace Peterson of Davenport, Iowa. At the request of the family, cremation has taken place and a private family service with full military honors will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
