Everet Ihle

Everet Ihle, age 67, of Holland, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday August 6, 2015. Everet was born in Douglas and attended Saugatuck High School. He was proud to be a Vietnam veteran and loved his country. He had a kind heart and enjoyed helping others. Everet owned and operated Ihle Service in Saugatuck for over thirty years and had a love for anything with a motor. This was reflected during his ownership, which will be continued on by his family. He was survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan; children, David and Mary Ihle of Saugatuck, Caren and Ed Madsen of Lawrence; grandchildren; Clay, Knole, and Suzanna Ihle, Madeline and Alex Madsen; brother, Gary (Viola) Ihle; step mother in-law, Barbara Baranowski; brother in-law, Henry Baranowski and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Tuesday (August 18) at 11 am at the Community Church of Douglas, 6874 Wiley Road, with the Rev. Jeff Messner officiating. Visitation will be Monday (August 17) from 6-9 pm also at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 2144 or the Community Church of Douglas. Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
