Evelyn De Graaf

Evelyn “Evie” Jean De Graaf, age 64, of Holland went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

Evie was a member of Beechwood Church and more recently attended Central Wesleyan Church. She was a nurse for over 40 years and a receptionist at Dykstra Funeral Homes, Northwood Chapel. Evie enjoyed camping in Ludington, trips to Florida and she loved playing with her grandchildren. Evie was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Ruth Postma.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Randall and children: Kelli and Greg Bonham of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren: Jonathan and Madeline; sisters and brother: Charles and Pat Postma of Port Clinton, OH, Nelleatha and Paul Triesenberg of Macon, GA and Linda and Jim Allen of Holland; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ivan and Judy De Graaf of Holland, Shirley and Al Nienhuis of Holland, Jack and Mary De Graaf of Hudsonville, Kris and Dave Wolbert of Holland and Jim De Graaf of Holland; aunt: Harriet Guikema-Stolks of Wyoming, MI; many nieces, nephews and cousins

A celebration of life will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Trinity Reformed Church, 712 Apple Avenue in Holland. Reverend Chris De Graaf will be officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Memorial contributions may be given to Zoe Waters, 2900 Wilson Avenue, Suite 110, Grandville, MI 49418.
