EulaMae Hawkins

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of EulaMae Sue Hawkins,

lovingly known as Sue. Sue passed away on July 26,2026, at the age of 87.

Born in Sacramento, California on July 17, 1939, she was the daughter of Edwin

Roberts and Josephine Ruth Vasey.

On August 10, 1958, Sue married the love of her life, Joe Hawkins, and together they

shared a life filled with love and joy until his passing on March 24, 2006.

Sue was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and

friend. She found her most joy in being with her family and friends, gardening, cooking,

reading, cross stitch and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Wanda (Paul) Miller, Dale (Rhonda) Hawkins and Carol

(Jeff) Welcher; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Thomas, Alyssa, Lauren, Sydney,

Ryan, and great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Ariana, Violet, Georgia, Harrison, Cameron,

Baker, Charli Mae, Harper and Charlotte. Sue is also survived by her sister, Bobbi of

Wisconsin and brother Ron of California.

Sue was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A funeral service will be held on August 10, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Fort Custer National Cemetery in

Augusta, Michigan.

Though she is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and spirit will remain in our

hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations can be made

to either Al Van Humane Society, South Haven or the Lawton American Legion, Post 220.
