Eugene Bell

90, died at his home on Monday, October 16, 2017 after an extended illness. A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mr. Bell is the husband of 60+ years to LaWanda Hite Bell and the son of the late William E. and Lois E. Maxwell Bell. A Navy veteran of WW II and the Korean War, Mr. Bell with his wife, LaWanda lived a very fulfilling life. They enjoyed many trips together, several with him in the pilot's seat of his airplane. He, also, enjoyed racing cars and was an excellent mechanic, retiring from Western Michigan University as their mechanic. Leaving behind with many cherished memories other than his wife are: a son, Stephen Bell; two daughters, Kathy Scott and her husband, James, Karen Burt and her husband, Michael; a sister, Faye Nuyen and 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Bud Bell. The family is planning a private Memorial Service in Michigan at a later date. Online condolences for the family may be left at: www.livingwatersfh.com
