Esther H. Botwinski (Sloma), aged 98 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Botwinski, her son, John Botwinski, her daughter, Joan VanWieren and her granddaughter, Katie Winburn. She is survived by her children, Charles D. (Laura) Botwinski, Michael (Teresa) Botwinski, Matthew Botwinski, Lawrence (Sally) Botwinski, Charlene (James) Pierce, Jean Winburn, James (Cindy) Botwinski; 18 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 2510 Richmond St. NW. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW and again at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the Mass begins at 10 am.
